Knowing what you believe and believing what you know is not the same thing. • You must know what you believe. • You must scrutinize (test) what you know. If dogma is your baseline, to which all truth must conform or it cannot be true, then you have seriously handicapped any possible recognition of truth when it appears. You will not know it. You cannot engage it on its own ground. You can not legitimately prove or disprove its worth.
